Classic Car Clubs are now invited to submit an Application for Club Display Space at the forthcoming RIAC NATIONAL CLASSIC CAR SHOW organised by the Royal Irish Automobile Club in the RDS Simmonscourt Hall on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th March 2018.

If you are interested in a stand space for your Club, you should submit the online Application Form (see form below), which must be received before Friday 20th October. Applications are subject to approval by the Show Committee and successful applicants will be notified by 27th October.

Club Display Space stands are all approximately 8 x 6 metres and are carpeted. On receiving the acceptance for your Club, payment should then be made (€150.00 plus VAT @ 23% = €184.50) not later than Friday 31st October.

The final allocation of stand space will be by draw and Clubs will be notified of their stand number and location at the November briefing meeting to be held at the Royal Irish Automobile Club. Please note that it is a condition of acceptance that club representatives attend a briefing meeting in November. Non-attendance at this briefing meeting will result in the cancellation of your invitation to participate in the 2018 Show.

at the RIAC National Classic Car Show 2018.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We are committed to giving as many clubs as possible the opportunity to participate in the RIAC National Classic Car Show, so past participation is not a guarantee of acceptance for the 2018 show.

Only on-line applications to SDL will be considered. A final decision on the Clubs to be invited will be made by the 2018 National Classic Car Show Committee.

It is our aim that the 2018 Show should be a ‘new’ Show, with little or no repeat of cars that appeared in either the 2013, 2014 or 2016 Shows. Please bear this in mind when selecting the cars to appear on your stand.

You will be required to provide a list of the cars/vehicles to appear on your stand by the end of December, together with the full title and year of the vehicle as well as a paragraph of text about the vehicle. This information must be provided by this date. We will provide a Display sign with this information for your use on your stand.

We would also ask you to supply a photograph of each of the vehicles on your stand. These will be used for pre-event publicity on our website (www.riacclassiccarshow.ie) and on our Facebook page.

A briefing meeting will be held in November. This will take place in the Royal Irish Automobile Club at 34 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 on Saturday morning. Parking will be provided and meeting will last no more than two hours. Please note that it is a condition of acceptance that club representatives attend this meeting. Non-attendance at this briefing meeting will result in the cancellation of your invitation to participate in the 2018 Show.

Each stand will be allocated 4 Exhibitors tickets. These tickets are strictly non-transferable. Additional Exhibitors tickets will be available up to a maximum of 8 per stand at a cost of €10.00 each. These tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available on either day of the Show.

Clubs that wish to highlight their stand with additional lighting will be able to purchase extra lighting from SDL. This information will be sent to you on acceptance of your application for your Club’s Display Stand Space.
