Don’t miss 1,000mph Bloodhound SSC Car
World Land Speed Record Challenger
Bloodhound SS, the car designed to break the 1,000 mph barrier and set a new Land Speed Record will be one of the stars of the RIAC Show and will be an show on Saturday and Sunday.
Former Land Speed Record holder and Project Leader Richard Noble will be attendance on Sunday March 2nd.
The car, together with a simulator designed to give some idea of what travelling at over 1,000 mph on land will be there both days together with Bloodhound staff to answer questions.
Richard Noble and Andy Green are already the Fastest Men in the World since 1979!
Thrust SSC broke the sound barrier back in October 15, 1997. It achieved a speed of 1,228 km/h (763 mph) and the SSC became the first land vehicle to officially break the sound barrier. Thrust SSC also has the manned land speed record under its belt and has not been beaten to this day.
